Those of you who follow me on Snapchat and Instagram will know that I’ve been busy planning for the upcoming fashion month marathon. Not only does the wardrobe need to be organised and outfits styled but flights, hotels, transfers all need to be booked in advance, together with organising a busy schedule of shows, presentations and events. It’s a pretty intense month but as with any challenge I like to set myself a reward. This time I’ve decided to take some R&R in an exotic location once it’s all over. For location inspiration, I’ve been scrolling through some of my favourite travel bloggers and thought I’d share a few of my favourites.
From sandy beaches to quick city getaways and lush tropical vacations these girls clock up major air miles and all with an incredible wardrobe in tow. These are the bloggers that every travel lover should follow:
A globe trotting fashionista from Moldova, Doina has spent the past few months travelling to locations like Turkey, Bali, Barcelona and Zermatt. Now she’s in Tulum!
Her love of travel, architecture, food and fashion are beautifully documented across her envy-inducing blog and social media. Effortlessly showcasing her inspiring style whilst on location, Doina picks up on the native fashion and makes it her own. This social savvy lady also has a YouTube channel offering beauty and style tips from her trips!
Her gypset lifestyle goes far beyond posing for pretty pictures however, and I often find insider info on Doina’s site that I can’t find anywhere else – covering everything from rooftop hideaways to epic film locations! If that’s not reason enough to follow her, Doina and her equally stylish boyfriend are the definition of couple goals.
Tamara is originally from Serbia and is a regular on the fashion circuit, regularly attending New York, London, Milan and Paris fashion weeks. Like me however, she also enjoys exploring off the beaten track! Featuring over 35 destinations globally on her blog, Tamara’s recent stops include the Maldives, Switzerland, Thailand and Dubai. Meanwhile, her YouTube channel offers a behind the scenes look into life as a travel and fashion blogger, whilst also sharing tips and advice on what to pack, wear and see while overseas.
For a daily dose of Tamara’s action packed adventures follow her on Snapchat: Tamarakalinic
With a PhD in fashion under her belt and having lectured in fashion marketing at the University of Manchester, Victoria brings an intellectual approach to the blogosphere. Victoria’s recent post on the Maldives is one of my favourites, following her as she explores several islands and dispels the myth that the place is just for honeymooners!
With Victoria’s global travels comes her ‘Global Eats’ where you can find the hottest spots to wine and dine in the city or on the slopes. Her candid vlogs cover everything from trips to Reykjavik and New York whilst also showing off her enviable wardrobe in her ‘holiday lookbooks’. This girl has every base covered.
From the north of England to Australasia and beyond, Victoria inspires her readers to expand their horizons in a style thats approachable and friendly.
You’re probably already familiar with the Song of Style sisters – yup, between Aimee and her sister Dani, they’re serious contenders for sibling goals – but it wouldn’t be a list of my favourite travel bloggers if I didn’t include them!
Aimee’s documentation of dreamy destinations on her blog and across her social media showcase her eye for detail – well, it’s no surprise she moonlights as an interior designer! – as well as her love of food!
Aimee has amassed a loyal fan base (3m instagram followers) thanks to her relaxed style set against stunning backgrounds, from Cabo to Switzerland, which she captures and shares on her beautifully curated Instagram gallery.
Aimee recently announced plans to become more active on YouTube, where she already shares design DIY, among other tricks and tips, so expect to see more great things soon!
As a former fashion editor turned full time blogger, Lucy’s eloquent writing style is what first captured my imagination. However, having stumbled upon her Instagram recently, I’ve fallen fast for her breath-taking photos and her to-die-for wardrobe.
For the girl who says all she needs for a good street style shot is a ‘brick wall’, you’ll be hard pushed to find any on her Instagram feed. Showcasing her style and love of travel at the same time, Lucy’s recent posts feature just about everywhere from Rajasthan to the Maldives.
So now I’ve told you my favourites, time for you to tell me yours! Do you have any recommendations of exotic locations I should travel to for some rest and relaxation? What are some of your favourite places to unwind and explore! Let me know in the comments below!
