Growing up, there was always something special about James Bond – the action-packed films offered a look into the alluring world of espionage with debonaire men, fast cars and beautiful women. Being my father’s daughter, I would revel in the opportunity to sit on the sofa next to him, watching the countless copies we had on VHS. The excitement that accompanied the release of a new 007 movie was unrivalled and involved an entire family outing to the cinema.
Over the years, the films have lost none of their appeal and on Monday night, I was excited to attend the World Premiere of ‘SPECTRE’ as a guest of Ghost. The contemporary, affordable fashion label designed the dress that Lea Seydoux, the Oscar-nominated French actress wore in the new blockbuster and I was excited to be given my own Bond girl makeover by the brand.
Slit to the hip, the Ghost gown I chose came with a licence to thrill. I wore my hair with a sleek middle-parting, held in a simple pony and a dark plum lip to match the dress was my boldest accessory. The look was finished with metallic sandals and simple jewellery.
Once the makeover was complete, we found ourselves at the bank of the River Thames, opposite the iconic Palace of Westminster. Finally, as the sun began to set, we began to shoot – photos that is, not bullets.
SPECTRE is now out in cinemas worldwide.
