Incredible. The only word worthy to describe the DIOR RTW SS15 collection.
From the spectacular mirrored facade of the showspace, hidden within the magnificent courtyard of the Musée du Louvre, to the opulently minimal designs that stalked the interior, the show was sensational and I was so happy to be there!
If any of the attendees were concerned with checking their appearance before meeting the press they needn’t have been, as guests arriving at the show were greeted by their own reflection, as well as that of the exquisite palace around them, once home to French royalty.
Dressed from head-to-toe in the DIOR Resort collection, I accessorised with an ALAIA belt and a TOPSHOP bracelet.
Here are 4 of my favourite looks on the runway.
The palette was minimalist for the most part, with a number of all white looks taking to the catwalk, with a smattering of delicate florals here and there, followed by navy blues and two final looks in bold, jewel tones. Referencing the couture collection in July (read more here), the regency silhouette was familiar with high neck dresses, and long coats that were given a contemporary look when styled with skate shorts and boots.
I can’t wait to wear some of the collection soon!
But for now, stay tuned for my next post from Maison Valentino!
