I can never decide whether Paris is more beautiful by day or by night. From the quaint streets of Le Marais to the city’s grand boulevards, I never tire of exploring this incredible city and yesterday was no exception. Call me a cliche, but it began with a late breakfast under the Eiffel Tower, followed by a day of gallery hopping, from the newly reopened Picasso museum to L’Orangerie. Our eyes heavy from soaking in all the sights, not to mention the night before – celebrating 95 Years of Vogue – we stopped to refuel at Les Invalides – a beautiful square in which stands a former hospital for injured soldiers, now dotted with museums and French brasseries.
Once our bellies were full with French fries and coffee it was time to get ready for the night ahead. Both wearing a total look from the Emanuel Ungaro resort collection, my friend Doina and I made our way to Pigalle for a dinner hosted by Galore Magazine and Zendaya. Toasting with red wine and munching on nachos, it wasn’t long before the night was in full swing and we decided to find somewhere to dance. Outside, we jumped a cab to the Stella McCartney after party, where we ran into some familiar faces, including British band Clean Bandit who I met at Coachella this summer! The band later performed to a packed crowd in the underground venue and we danced into the early hours.
