…and on the Seventh Day, God finally rested; I, on the other hand, had work to do.
For my final day in Paris I went for a white lace pencil skirt, which I’d been dying to wear all week. It’s very Burberry Prorsum SS14: ultra-feminine, with the perfect interplay between conservative length and peekaboo lace.
Pairing it with a grey tee (complete with black lace detail on the neck) and a black leather jacket for a strong look, I added a studded belt for interest and these incredible ankle boots: sleek, elegant and totally fierce. The tromp l’oeil cut-out on the shoe gives the impression of endless legs, while the open-toe allows you to proudly show off your pedicure. I’m in LOVE!
I finished the look with a little colour in the shape of my favourite Proenza Schouler bag, and for one last drop of drama…these sunglasses: hot off the runway from the DSquared2 SS14 runway collection!
