As seen on the catwalk for Dior couture, Tom Ford and Vera Wang, this season’s perforated detailing is one for your wardrobe. The micro trend plays off the sports looks we all love and provides an eye-drawing detail to any look. While today’s weather was probably not the best time to trial it, I did wait for the rain to clear before making my debut!
I paired this leather panelled, perforated blue top with a matching two-tone, denim and lace skirt for a chic and understated look. I layered up on rings and optimistically, wore this pair of coffee-coloured glasses from Cutler and Gross – to shield my eyes from the…rain clouds? Don’t worry, my umbrella is just out of shot!
What I’m Wearing:
Leather-paneled, perforated sweater by Reed Krakoff;
Denim & lace skirt by Sacai Luck;
Perforated clutch by Stella McCartney;
Leather pumps by Sophia Webster;
Earrings by Maria Black;
‘Bianca’ Gold-tone ring by Chloé;
Sunglasses by Cutler and Gross;
other rings, my own.
