Sequins in daylight?!

You should know by now that rules are made to be broken and with the Vogue-verified SS14 trend for wearing metallics during the day already established, now it’s time for metallics’ much sassier sister, sequins.

This shirt’s boxy shape is on-trend, and can be easily worn with a pair of dark skinny jeans or a high-waisted pencil skirt. I’m not one to take the easy route however, so I’m wearing mine with a floral jacquard skirt by Michael Van Der Ham and a serious pair of shoes.

For accessories, I kept it light with just a couple bracelets, along with a pair of Linda Farrow shades – which I couldn’t resist matching with my new nail colour from Butter London!

The Details –

Boxy sequin shirt by ACNE STUDIOS;
Skirt by MICHAEL VAN DER HAM;
Python and perspex sandals by LANVIN;
Handbag CÉLINE;
Bangles by VITA FEDE;
Sunglasses by LINDA FARROW.
