Hi guys, I’m so excited to start sharing my videos on my new Youtube channel – I’m hoping to make it a regular thing so if you’d like to see more, make sure to leave a comment and subscribe!
Last week in London, was one of the biggest events of the summer, The Serpentine Summer Party, celebrating the very best of art and design. Each year, industry tastemakers, as well as some of the biggest names in fashion and entertainment – think Lara Stone, Erin O’Connor and Christopher Kane – descend upon the city’s Hyde Park and I was excited to be invited once more.
There’s food, music and paparazzi. Lots of paparazzi.
I know what you’re thinking, it sounds like a glorified garden party, and it is, only that your in laws are Hans Ulrich Obrist and Julia Peyton Jones (art world big wigs) and your gal pal is Karlie Kloss; there’s also no actual barbecue and Spandau Ballet have reformed on stage, but still, you get the idea.
Taking centerstage was the Serpentine Pavilion, which each year is transformed by a world renowned architect. Light, colour and organic design were key to this year’s design by José Selgas and Lucía Cano, making a fabulous space for London’s finest garden party.
Now watch my video to see what goes on behind the scenes as I get ready for the red carpet.
With a special thanks to the team at Karla Otto, Blumarine and Damiani for dressing me.
