On Tuesday evening I was fortunate to attend the Serpentine Gallery Summer Party in Hyde Park and it was such a beautiful evening.
The party celebrates the opening of the new pavilion, which is each year redesigned by another world leading architect. This year was no different and an incredibly sculptural design was built by Chilean architect Smiljan Radić.
I was fortunate to be lent a beautiful, asymmetrical dress by designer Roland Mouret and was accessorised by none other than Damiani fine jewellery. Check out my Instagram and Twitter (@emmamilleruk) for more photos and a closeup of that gorgeous butterfly ring.
Inside the event we were treated to performances from Pharrell and 2 Many DJs – the former bringing everyone crowding to the dance floor for a glimpse. The attendees were drawn from a fabulous mix of art, fashion and media, and included everyone from Net-a-Porter’s Natalie Massenet to Marina Abramović and Alexa Chung. One of my favourite looks on the night belonged to the beautiful Princess Beatrice wearing Nicholas Oakwell Couture. She looked divine!
The evening continued as guests were whisked away to Chiltern Firehouse for dinner, and for the hardy few who were prepared to keep the night going thereafter, the Groucho club opened it’s members-only doors to a very tight guest list!
Until next year…
