I can’t believe that it’s already the penultimate day of New York Fashion Week – it feels like just yesterday I touched down at JFK, excited to experience all that the Big Apple had to offer. It’s been an absolutely magical week, filled with all the things I love, from fashion to friends, and inspiring people but it’s not over yet, so I will save that for next time!
Catching up on my favourite NY outfits, I wanted to share with you this look that I was snapped wearing on Monday, between shows.
Jetting from appointment to show to meeting to party calls for a look that can multitask: something that screams New York cool and can beat the city heat.
To do just that, I put together two new additions to my wardrobe – a crisp white pencil skirt with an asymmetric tail and a plaid, crossover tank top. Checks, plaid & all things square are on trend for Autumn/Winter and are set to carry into Spring ’15, so it’s worth investing now! Accessorising my look, I wore my Chanel sandals and quilted bag but kept my accessories simple with some cool bangles from Topshop and a two-finger ring.
