So it’s Tuesday and I’m still flat hunting – with just two weeks before I need to move out(!) – despite the delay and the stress it’s caused, I’m feeling a lot more upbeat after a relaxing weekend.
Nothing beats time spent with friends, and this Sunday I caught up with the gorgeous Doina to play tourists in our own town. After enjoying a healthy, protein-packed brunch at Little House Mayfair, we set off to explore the local galleries and had far too much fun checking out the pieces up for auction at Phillips.
Our final stop? A little pampering and a new manicure. Can you spot the difference? 😉
Before heading home, we decided to snap some photos of the day’s look. I’d put together a suitably autumnal ensemble, and matched a forest green scuba skirt with a printed blouse. The neoprene fabric of the skirt kept me just warm enough but I added a leather jacket to the beat the chill, and a pair of acid-green heels for height! While the temperature has certainly cooled, the sun is still shining and I couldn’t have gone without a pair of statement shades.
What did you get up to this weekend? Let me know in the comments below!
In case you’re still trying to work out where I’m going this weekend, I’ll give you another clue: London, Paris, New York, Milan…the next fashion capital has a whole lot of soul.
