Weekend Wardrobe

From masks and wigs to whips and canes, Halloween Halloweek was a blast but I sure am relieved to get back to reality!

Along with Christmas & New Years, Halloween is one of my favourite holidays – because who doesn’t love the chance to dress up? – but after three costume parties in a week, I was feeling pretty burnt out! You can find some pictures of my outfits here.

On Saturday, I decided to take some time out to relax, recoup and recharge:

Step 1 on my road to recovery? Losing 5 inches when I swapped my platform heels for my favourite new boots from ZARA.

I spend a lot of my time in London hopping in and out of UBERS but I’d be much more inclined to walk if I were wearing these instead of heels. The patent leather is a welcomed addition to my closet and the chains give the boot some edge. IMO they’re the perfect shoe for dressing up a casual look or adding some boyish drama to a party dress.

What do you think? How would you style them?

A cool necklace will add interest to your casual look with minimal effort required.

Mixing your prints is the fastest way to gain some serious sartorial points in my book.

Adding a tailored jacket or wide brimmed hat will keep you looking polished, even if you’re feeling anything but.

Like my look? Then shop it!
